Sarah and Zachary
How We Met
Zack and I met about five and a half year ago at a friendly game of kick ball. He caught interest and asked a couple of his friends about me who in turn told him it was a bad idea to talk to me. Which fortunately he didn’t take their advice. But on the other hand I was under the impression he was no where near my type as well, but little did I know that was far from the truth. Months passed with no sightings of him and one night I wound up at a mutual friends house before going out for the night and he happened to be there. I caught a glympse of him and couldn’t believe I ever doubted seeing anything in him. His handsome smile, those sexy muscles, and his sarcastic dry sense of humor had my heart racing. Weeks went by, we started talking, and he even took me down to the Keys with his family to go diving. I knew he had to be mine. His love, life, and passion was something I craved and I was addicted. A few rough spots, a couple different homes and four years later we found our selves talking about chrildren and marriage. I knew he was the one for me. The love we share for hunting, fishing, and the beautiful outdoors I knew I couldn’t experience with anyone other than him. He was perfect, he is perfect. We decided on forever.
how they asked
It was November 27, 2015 the day after Thanksgiving and we were up before the sun heading out to hunt. When we got to the property we realized we had arrived later then expected and the feeder had already gone off. So instead of Zack walking to his stand past the feeder he decided just to sit with me. Hours passed with no sight of any deer so we decided to head in. He got down from the stand first and as usual I had him take photos of me wearing my sponsored camo climbing down from the tree. As I reached the bottom he gave me a kiss and got down on one knee. My heart started beating out of my chest, I felt my face get flushed, and feelings of emotions I have never felt overcame me. And with no doubt in mind I said YES. How could I not marry this man, the one who is nothing but perfect for me, the one who holds not some but all of my heart. So although we did not drag out any deer that morning it was the most perfect, special, and unforgettable I was ever experience. As they say “the hunt is over”
