how they asked: Me and my Fiance!! (I love saying that) went to Disney World July 11th 2015 for my birthday . We arrived to Orlando at 6:45pm … He made reservations for 8:40pm at Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom Castle)
As soon as we got there everyone was really friendly and professional and we received a very warm welcome. We waited in line to have our photos taken with Cinderella.. never too old!!
After they took our picture we were taken to a waiting area until we got called. As we were waiting I just kept smiling with a shine in my eyes, I couldn’t believe it, I felt like I was in a fairy tale.
The waiter came over and guided us to our table, which before seating us mentioned ” This is a lovely table” he was just very polite and very very smiley! He took our order for our 3 course meal.
At that point, he made a big deal, that “he had to go to the restroom”!! To which I was like OK. He thought the waiter had no idea of how it was going to happen.
Starter’s were lovely.. it was perfectly presented and good service.
During Dinner, all the Princess came around to our table, we had photos and chat’s they were brilliant. They also mentioned that we had a very lovely special table .
Main meal came.. which was just AMAZING!! So tasty.. He had a fillet mignon with shrimp and I had pork tenderloins. Both looked spectacular and were delicious.
So the BIG event.. we were just talking.. For dessert our waiter came over with a covered plate and said “The chef has prepared something special for you tonight“. He then lifted the top.. and underneath was a Cinderella’s glass slipper on a bed of rose petals.. At the same timing the fireworks went ON !! He then got on one knee and proposed!! I immediately started crying of happiness .. AND of course I said YES!!! At the same time that all of this was happening there was a photographer in the background taking pictures of us.
The lovely waiter then took the plate away.. before bringing our jaw dropping dessert.
It was a dark chocolate glass slipper filled with chocolate mouse, fresh strawberries and “Happily ever after” written in chocolate on the plate!! I couldn’t finish it.. I was too excited. We also got two glasses of bubbly to toast (apple cider ) because Magic Kingdom doesn’t serve alcohol.
After the waiter brought over a goodies bag for us.. with the engraved glass slipper, Just Engaged badges, 2 Champagne flutes.
