My name is Martha, I am a local Cabo wedding planner to Martha Ayala Weddings. I had the chance to speak with the groom-to-be Yamil and we discussed a teepee beach afternoon surprise for his girlfriend Mireille at a close beach to the area, so he could pop the question!
We arranged a private and bohemian teepee to spend the afternoon, with a charcuterie board, local beer, rosé, and of course Don Julio 70 tequila to toast.
Everything was set up in front of the pacific ocean by the wedding planning team and great vendors. We are used to planning, design and operate weddings, this was our first proposal so we were also NERVOUS too, everything happened so fast, we don’t even have a one-knee picture from the couple! In the end, Yamil and Mireille had an amazing evening surrounded by their love, sand, ocean, whale watching, and a new chapter in their lives.
