How We Met
Ryan & I met through family & friends; I was friends with his sister for years & we had a lot of mutual friends. His sister began helping me pray for my “Prince Charming” back in 2013; never imagining that the Prince Charming she was helping me pray for, would end up being her brother! On February 10th, 2018; he contacted me on Facebook, & the rest is history!!
How They Asked
Bristol, Va/Tn is one of our favorite cities! We’ve had so many fun dates there, & have made so many memories! Including our favorite date; Bristols Rhythm & Roots, where we danced to our love song “My Lover” by Birdtalker. So on February 13th, 2020, Ryan took me to Bristol for my surprise Anniversary/Valentine’s date! He surprised me with the cutest date to Kil’n Time Ceramics, where we each painted a ceramic for our future home. I of course thought the painting was my big surprise for the night; little did I know, it was just the beginning.
After we painted; he took me to one of our favorite restaurants, 620 State. We indulged in a lovely dinner, & then took a stroll down the streets of our favorite city. While walking he decided to take me on top of the Bristol Hotel, to “look at the view”. We made our way to the rooftop; & there on top of the Bristol Hotel, overlooking the beautiful city where we have made so many memories, the man of my dreams got down on one knee & asked me to be his wife!
With all the sweet details in place; the waitress hiding outside to take our pictures, flowers waiting on me, & a precious couple who surprised both of us with champagne & hugs! It was the most perfect night; in the most perfect city, ending with the most perfect proposal.
The next night; I got proposed to a second time, by two little boys who I fell in love with as fast as I fell in love with their daddy! I love Ryan so much, & I can’t wait to be his wife!!!
