How We Met
John and I met while working. We both had just gotten out of relationships and weren’t really looking for a relationship. We ended up having long talks about what we wanted with life and got along SO well. We decided to make it official in April of 2016!
How They Asked
We had planned a day trip to Bushkill Falls near the Poconos in PA which is someplace I loved as a kid and wanted to explore in the fall weather. The weather was perfect and the leaves were all changing to their fall colors. We had stopped at the Bridal Veil Falls to take pictures and a break from walking and John had been acting nervous and breathing heavily with anxiousness.
He then said “I wanted to make sure this day was just as perfect as we had planned and that’s why I wanted to do this here” that’s when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Once I had said yes, someone that happened to be recording the falls had come down and told us they got the whole proposal on video and had sent that to me as well! It was the perfect location and backdrop for our proposal.
