How We Met
High school sweethearts. met on the bus one day after school when i was trying to go to a friends house.
how they asked
Going on about seven years into our relationship, I made another lifelong commitment with deciding to go into the military. and with my ship date coming in June, me and her both made the decision that we should either tie the knot or break things up because neither of us would like to go through the stress and strain of a long distance separated military relationship. so I picked the better of the two options. and this will be the first time her family will have to approve of us. with her coming from a middle eastern background it has taken me much time and effort to get into the favor of her family(which is still not complete with the mothers blessing) so today I decided to make the leap and ask her to be my wife. so we went to the beach to watch the sunrise in the morning of our east coast of Florida. got lunch, and then after we climbed the 203 steps of the ponce de Leon inlet lighthouse. bathing in the perfect Florida weather and sun. I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me, and to my grace. she said yes.
