How We Met
The first time I saw Dorjan it was at one of our mutual friends house our first year in college. I just got off of work, in my pajamas and no makeup, and saw him standing in the kitchen. I freaked, and ran into my friends room hoping he hadn’t seen me. Five minutes later he walked in, sat on the couch next to me and started talking to me (keep in mind I was brutally shy then). It was a super short conversation, and as soon as he left I started gushing to my friend about how cute he was and how hideous I was looking at that moment. So eventually we were set up, and even though we were both pretty shy, 2 weeks later we were dating. We were such a great fit, everything was so easy, and the butterflies never went away. They still haven’t gone away! We’ve moved across the country, experience so many amazing things, and 2 1/2 years later, I finally get to call him my fiance!

We spent our entire New Years Eve sitting at Rincon Park in San Francisco and I could not believe that we left the house 12 hours early just to reserve a spot! We packed a picnic and our blanket (and a bottle of wine!) and laid on the grass all day. It was such an amazing day, even though our fingers and toes were numb from the cold! So after hours of anticipation, waiting for the must-see firework show, the countdown began. New Years has always been such a special moment for us because 3 years ago it was the moment we truly fell in love! So once the show started, he hugged me really tight, and started talking about our first New Years together. And before I even knew what was happening, the man of my dreams was on one knee, asking me to spend the rest of my life with him! I asked if he was sure about 3 times before I could say YES!!!
