How We Met
We met at church through a mutual friend. We began hanging out together with our mutual friends and slowly started getting to know each other better. As time progressed we realized that our personalities were a perfect match. I am a planner and more conservative while he is carefree and lives in the moment; we balance each other. He was always adventurous while I was timider. Through the years he has slowly brought me out of my shell and helped me become more adventurous and daring.
Whether we’re out offroading, hiking, or camping, we always enjoy each others company; Vichea is my endless source of laughs. The moment we knew we were meant for each other was when we realized we were best friends. We could not imagine life without each other and only wanted to build more memories together. Vichea has always lived life spontaneously and decided to purchase a Jeep Wrangler last year. Since then we have gone on many camping and road trips.
how they asked
In April 2017, we took a road trip to the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend. At Horseshoe Bend we were posing for pictures when Vichea got down on one knee and exclaimed “Marry me!” and the rest was history.
