How We Met
We first met in 2009 while attending the same highschool! Elvin and I became really great friends very quickly! We had some classes together and had the same circle of friends. We attended all the same parties and after school events together. Elvin was even my prom date to my senior prom!
How They Asked
I BOOKED MY OWN PHOTOGRAPHER! I was so shocked. Elvin’s mom reached out to me to book family pictures on the beach, so I do! Turns out I was planning my own engagement. We were all going to meet at ponce inlet at 7:30 and get some pics done. I walked down onto the beach still so unaware that I was texting his brother and giving him directions.
When we turned the corner Elvin grabbed my hand and in front of me was a gorgeous display asking me to marry him. My best friend was there with his mother and sister and it was amazing! I’m not very easily surprised (very type A lol) because I’m usually planning everything and I just couldn’t contain the excitement. He got down on his knee and said “I love you so much” to which I screamed at the top of lungs “OH MY GOD” and then asked me to marry him. Afterwards we called all our loved ones and told them the amazing news. We’re so in love!
