How We Met
Me and Jen are explorers. We’re the type of people who have travel built into our DNA. Our adventures, or our TrenTreks as we like to call them, constitute a good portion of our relationship. Thus, it was no surprise that our engagement would begin somewhere internationally.
When it came down to choosing a location to propose, I was fortunate that an offer for a work trip to London arrived simultaneously. With London being one of Jen’s favorite cities in Europe, there were an abundance of great locations to choose from as our special site. I explored sites connected to some of Jen’s favorite pieces, Notting Hill and Pride & Prejudice, but ultimately settled on a remarkable garden I found at the Kensington Palace. After much research and emailing, I came across Cecelina and knew I had found the perfect photographer for us.
how they asked
I fretted over the day’s weather, the optimal time of day, if there would be large crowds of people, and whether even there would be foliage in the gardens during the autumn season. Planning everything almost 5,000 miles away proved a bit challenging. How would I create a reason for us to be there at that place and time? How to make sure I safely transported the ring over there with me without any detection from Jen? Luckily, Cecelina was very responsive and helpful in making this special moment for us happen and it worked out perfectly.
We are extremely thrilled with how our photos turned out and would 100% recommend her to other potential couples. These are the photos we will have and cherish for our lifetime. Looking at that them makes us unbelievably excited for our future.
