“I told Sarah that Hoteito Azul gave us a free dinner on the beach. She knew- She heard our song and she started crying before we even sat down… Of course, I played it off for a solid 10 minutes, leading her to believe this was just a nice romantic dinner. But at that moment it was just us, and I finally asked that question that would bond us for life. I’m the luckiest man alive….”
“We planned a photoshoot in Barbados, and only a few poses in, the photographer asked me if I would be comfortable taking a profile picture with Demetrius in the background, of course, I said yes. I didn’t see the vision but that was okay because we had agreed to give him full creative freedom. At this point I’m smiling to get a good picture. Andrew said, “Okay turn around, let’s switch” and THERE IT WAS!”
“Baylee surprised me with a fairytale proposal when taking a family trip to the Dominican Republic. She planned an excursion that included my love for everything nautical to Saona Island by speed boat to the most beautiful private beach with crystal clear water. Once there, I was treated to a massage on the beach, a catered lunch, and a sailboat ride back. Everyone who knows me knows that she nailed my perfect proposal. Little did she know, I was also planning to propose to her on this trip! After that magical day, the next morning I got up and laid out rose petals from our balcony that spelled out Will U Marry Me? And I gave her the ring I chose for her. It was a magical week so full of love and smiling…”
“I had no idea this day was going to end up being one of the greatest days of my life. It was already amazing because we were one of the few people on this private island with flamingos, a once in a lifetime type of adventure in the first place and then it got a whole lot better. I said yes to the man of my dreams in a place that one would call paradise. I still can’t believe this is my life!!!”
“Mackenzie had thought that we were going to use our vacation days to chill at home, she had no idea that we were even going to Florida. It wasn’t until we were on our way that Mackenzie even found out about the trip! I had been planning for months to also propose on the trip….”
“Robbie wasn’t planning on proposing in Hawaii but I told him my parents went on their honeymoon there. He was very sneaky during our trip about making phone calls to jewelers and to my dad to ask for his permission to ask. Robbie proposed on a sunset dinner cruise with sea turtles and sea lions swimming beside us and my favorite song by the Revivalists “Soul Fight” playing! We still can’t watch the video without crying!”
“I planned a photoshoot while we were in Thailand. It was raining that day and it was so windy but we made the most of it even though our clothes were wet and we had to stop constantly. The photographer was taking some photos of just me, when I heard Danny behind me calling my name…”
“Halfway through our trip, we had lunch at a restaurant that was literally located 5 meters under the ocean. It was so magical to be completely surrounded by schools of tropical fish and sharks in their natural habitat. Danny asked if we could take a photo and when I turned around he was on one knee with my dream ring!”
“I sat back, drank my new full glass of wine while soaking in the sunset and Grecian music playing in the background. The music suddenly cut out and “Grow Old” by Florida Georgia Line began to play. That is OUR song. I turned around so fast because at that point I just knew this was it. I saw Madison walking down the stairs heading back to our table. He approached and asked me to join him for a dance. After the song ended he got down on one knee and proposed to me with the cutest speech & tears rolling down his face. It was nothing short of romantic. I was so speechless I forgot to even say yes. The proposal was followed by a waiter who greeted us with two dozen red roses and a champagne toast, all while the sun was melting into the sea at one of the best sunset views in town.”
“Little did I know, there was a hidden photographer on board and was able to catch this beautiful moment of Judson getting down on his knee and asking me to marry him in front of baby flamingos – I still feel like someone needs to pinch me and say that it really happened and not a fairy tale! I knew I always wanted to spend the rest of my life with him but how could I have ever said no in such a beautiful way that he asked me!”
“Our tour guide had been taking amazing, Instagram-worthy photos of our family all day, even using props and helping us pose! I didn’t think twice when we approached Twin Lagoon and he started giving Duke and I instructions for a unique photo he had in mind. Duke and I got into our pose at the bow of the boat but when I turned around, there he was on one knee, asking me to marry him, in front of my entire family! If anyone knows anything about me it’s that I love the ocean and I love my family. It was truly the perfect proposal!”
“We arrived at the hotel and immediately headed to the gorgeous infinity pool. While we were drinking margs, we somehow got on the topic of marriage. I was telling Rishil that I felt like initially, I wasn’t ready to get engaged and he was, and now it seemed like I wanted to and he didn’t. He responded with “I don’t know Hail, I’m just not ready yet…”
“My friends and I got to the beach and my friend Megan took out her camera to get pictures of all of us. We walked out and I saw a guy sitting alone looking out to the ocean. I said, “wow that guy looks like Ryan it’s so weird.” Megan responds, “Oh does it?” Then he turned a little more and I take my phone out because I legit thought this is so crazy Ryan has a twin I need to show him…. then he turned completely around and stood up. I then processed that it was actually Ryan… on the beach… in Aruba?!?!”
“Stephanie and I were planning our first trip overseas together and I immediately knew our trip would be the perfect opportunity to propose. I stared in amazement at the beauty of Old Town Dubrovnik and asked her “wouldn’t this be the perfect moment to propose, it’s so beautiful.” She laughed it off with a big “pfft” saying we will have to come back one day, shrugging her shoulders and looking at the view. I replied with “well maybe we won’t have to” and got down on one knee….”
“We planned a quick trip to Mexico (booked it about one week beforehand!) We landed and went straight to the beach, Piña Coladas in hand. We decided to get ready for dinner early that first night so we could snap a few photos on the beach. As we were walking to the beach down a palm tree-lined pathway, Gary stopped, got down on one knee and asked me to be his co-pilot for life…”
“We decided to take a trip back to Greece this year, after four years away from our magical island. This time we chose to explore Milos, Greece. We left the hotel early to get as much exploring in as possible. We went to a quaint fisherman’s village right on the sea. He took my hand and we walked out to the end of a pier and sat on a bench. It was the perfect weather, an absolutely flawless day. I was so happy. He took my hand and got down on one knee…”
“At the top of the cliff we made our way to our favorite grassy spot with tiny pink flowers scattering through the vines. He turned to me and said “Baby I have to tell you something…. Ever since we met, I knew you were my soulmate. You’ve taught me how to live this amazing life to it’s fullest and most importantly how to live life through God. I can’t live without you baby because I live life for you. I’ve been waiting so long to ask you this… Madeline, will you marry me? ………Best day of my entire life.”
“Once we were done with the food, the waiter declared that he has a surprise for both of us. Yet in order to get it, we have to be blindfolded first. With my sense of adventure and curiosity, I was no doubt game for what was coming. I was first hit by the glare of the heart-shaped dazzling lights and fire, to later notice my partner’s figure kneeling in the middle with a slightly opened ring box in his hands. It is only then that I realized there was no piñata and no Mexican candies. Rather, an astonishingly well-planned proposal. Moments of overwhelmed emotions followed and gladly a talented photographer was there to archive a moment that we will hold and preserve for long days to come….”
“We decided we should take our first real trip now that we aren’t broke college kids. We went to Jamaica & as we were in the midst of our photoshoot (that he surprise scheduled) he proposed. I was so shocked and happy. Following that he had a candlelight dinner set up for us. I guess you could say it was worth waiting 7 years.”
“On our first day in Malta, Florin took some pictures of me and then he fixed the phone on the tripod to take pictures together. We posed hugging, kissing but I felt Florin’s heart beating really fast and hard. He suddenly started telling me about how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend every minute of his life with me. He felt that was the moment he had to do it and got down on one knee and asked me: Do you want to be my wife? I always imagined that my reaction to this question would be excitement and joy, which would cause lots of jumping and screaming…but, instead, I started crying tears of joy..”
“I told Lizzie that we were going to dinner on the beach so she could dress up nice! Once we got to the Ritz for dinner I told her that I got a superset sunset sailboat ride we could go on before we ate. As we boarded the boat I got pretty nervous and excited all at the same time. About 20 minutes went by and we were towards the front of the boat. Right, when the sunset peered beneath the horizon I told her to stand up and check it out…That’s when I got down on one knee and she then turned around and couldn’t believe what was going on! The whole boat cheered for us and then we celebrated with a bottle of champagne. The proposal couldn’t have been any more memorable and we will both remember it for the rest of our lives.”
“We planned a road trip thru Yucatán and Quintana Roo ending in the beautiful island of Holbox, I thought to myself “how amazing would it be if I could have my family and friends there to share one of the most important moments of our lives” and that’s exactly what I did, with the help of our families and friends we managed to keep everything hidden from her until the last second!”
“Nikki and I had planned a trip to the beautiful Caribbean islands months ahead and I knew that at this moment in paradise I had to ask her to spend the rest of her life with me. When we arrived, we were led to a private cabana where little did she know dinner would be prepared table-side while a local islander serenaded us with sounds from a steel drum. After what was the best meal I had in a while, I rushingly told Nikki we have to walk out to the gazebo quickly and catch the island sunset. Little did she know, a photographer would be hiding to capture the moment that I got down on one knee to ask her to spend the rest of her life with me…”
