How We Met: We went to middle school and high school together, we lost touch after high school. I went to college and year later got a friend request on facebook from him and we started talking and gave him my number in January. We started dating on my birthday and have been dating since then it will be 5 years on my birthday in February.
how they asked: His sister made a slide show for everyone of the year 2014 and this was the last picture on the slide show, it went by so fast and everyone and I mostly was in shock on what we saw and realized he was on one knee asking me to be his wife. The only person who knew was his sister, no one else had any idea. I couldn’t even speak at first I shook my head yes til I could actually say yes. He always said he could never see him self getting married, he has Cystic Fibrosis and each day is a blessing with him. Even though he is healthy with his Cystic Fibrosis it can change in a heartbeat. He is my hero and my best friend we do everything together we hunt and fish together and are so similar to each other. He never lets his CF stop him on what he loves and wants to do. I am also glad he had our chocolate lab Bo be part of it as well. We taught him as a puppy to keep treats on his nose until we said it was okay and it came in handy, Bo is family and not just a pet.
