How They Asked
He had hockey last night and made sure to stay late so it would be closer to my birthday, and he knew I would ask if I could have my presents at midnight (which I did) so he said I could have one.
Back story: for his bday I drew a little portrait thing of us and the dogs and wrote “The Greenlees” on it and then added a sticky note over the frame that said “future” since I’m not technically a Greenlee yet.
So he put that sticky not in an envelope and while I was distracted opening that he pulled the ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee. 😍😍😍 it was perfect and just the two of us in the living room looking like bums. Very us lol
