Congrats! You just got engaged, you shared your marriage proposal on HowTheyAsked, and now it’s time to begin the best and worst, happiest and most stressful few months of your life – it’s time to wedding plan, girlfriend.
If you’ve ever googled “wedding planning” or “top wedding sites” or even spent half a second on Pinterest, you’ll see the internet is filled with wedding resources and inspiration.
Quite honestly, it’s a bit overwhelming (we’re so thankful HowTheyAsked starts and stops with the proposal), but being that you ladies are newly engaged, we thought you might like to see our favorite wedding sites out there – some are blogs, some are social networks, some are plain-old great resources. Hope you fall in love with these like we have!
Our favorite part? Aside from being the prettiest wedding site out there, Snippet & Ink has made almost 600 Inspiration Boards. Find your color palette, some super cute wedding details, or a great shade of bridesmaids dresses.
Weddington Way has a beautifully-curated collection of bridesmaids dresses, accessories, and ties for groomsmen. You get your own complimentary personal stylist as well as an online showroom that allows you to coordinate with bridesmaids all across the globe. You’ll love how easy shopping for your wedding becomes.
You’ll always find the most creative weddings featured on Green Wedding Shoes. Whether it’s a Hunger Games Styled Wedding or a Vintage Circus Themed Wedding, GWS publishes all kinds of great inspiration – always with fab, honest, and practical words of advice to go along.
4. Lover.ly
Perhaps the neatest thing out there, Lover.ly is kinda, sorta like Pinterest – but a whole lot better. Instead of just allowing you to collect your favorite wedding inspirations, Lover.ly goes a step further, helping you find people to hire and things to buy. It’s one of the biggest and most innovative tools in wedding planning – don’t blame us when you become addicted.
5. Etsy
Okay, so it’s not entirely a wedding resource, but Etsy has SO many amazing accessories, gifts, decorations, invitations and more. The fact that they are handmade by real, creative, talented people makes it that much better and more personal. I’ve never had an Etsy interaction or purchase that didn’t come from love and true passion. Fill your wedding day with Etsy Weddings.
