How We Met
Tony and I met my senior year of college. I was new in town and needed help moving my new couches. Lucky for him (or me whichever way you want to look at it) he had a truck! Up until then I just knew him as the guy who worked in the mailroom. We started dating about 4 months after that.
how they asked
Tony has always since day 1 wanted the proposal to be a complete and total surprise. So I had NO CLUE that it was coming. We had never gone ring shopping, so I constantly bugged him and teased him about it. Even up to the very day he proposed. My brothers had come home for a visit and Tony knew all along he was going to propose on this day because he wanted both of my brothers to be a part of the proposal. I planned a trip to San Francisco for the day to do all my favorite things, little did I know the trip would not be one I would soon forget. He told me later he really had no idea when he was going to propose throughout the day, he was just going with the flow and do it when the time was right. We walked all throughout Union Square, to Pier 39 and back. Finally to top off the trip we ended the night at the top of Twin Peaks, which is one of the best views of the city at night. He asked my brothers if they could take a picture of us with the city in the background, and before I knew it he was down on one knee asking me to marry him! I’ve never been so caught off guard or happy to say yes in my entire life!
