We met each other at a friends wedding. He was a groomsman, and I was a bridesmaid. We walked down the aisle together. After the wedding we connected on facebook, and after a few months we started seeing each other. We lived hours away from each other, so one weekend we planned a date. Little did I know he was planning much, much more! We started out at Carrabba’s, and had a wonderful dinner together. Afterwards, we were going to meet up with a photography friend to have a few pictures of us taken downtown. When we got there everything seemed normal, he was really calm so I didn’t have a clue. When we got to the end of the bridge, he took my hand and walked me over to the edge. When I looked down, I saw every one of my friends and family below, holding a banner that said; “Sarah, will you marry me?”
He got down on one knee and in front of all the spectators walking across the bridge that day, I said yes. We had our engagement party afterwards, so I got to see everyone who came. At the end of the night, he took me on a carriage ride, which is something I wanted to do with him for years.
