How They Asked
Tiffany helped pick out the ring as we have been looking for some time for the perfect one. The ring had to be custom made to add some of Tiffany pizazz to it. The Jeweler said it would be a few weeks and he would send the ring to us. We had planned to get engaged on Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, Ga during a weekend getaway. A week prior Jeff told Tiffany that the jeweler did not have the ring ready and was hoping to have it by our getaway. 2 days prior to the trip after the photographer was already booked, Jeff told Tiffany that the jeweler did not get it out in time, so we would just have to take pictures for the family.
Day of: the photographer being in on the story and Tiffany already upset that the ring didn’t make it. Scott, from Shutterly Perfect Portraiture & Gallery, after taking some generic pictures said to us that we looked tight and unnatural. He told us to turn around and face away from each other and close our eyes(picture with her turned around).
At which time Jeff got on 1 knee and waited. Scott then proceeded to tell Tiffany to think about when we met, the location, the sounds. After a few seconds, he said now when you turn around to say the first thing that comes to your mind. At which time Tiffany turned around to find that Jeff had the ring the whole time and Jeff told her how much he loved Tiffany and asked Tiffany to spend the rest of her life with Jeff.
