How We Met
We met on the dating app called Hinge. Just when we were both about to take a break from the apps, we came across each other’s profiles. He had liked a photo of mine and so I scrolled through his profile. I thought he looked cute and was on the fence about talking to him. But then I noticed we had the same initials and that was my first sentence to him and the rest is all history. Glad we had the same initials because I would’ve missed out on an amazing guy otherwise haha.
How They Asked
What I thought was going to be a day to celebrate his younger brother and his fiancé, turned out to be our engagement instead. The day started off with high- tea at the Shang-ri La with my sister. I thought we were using up a birthday voucher she got from a friend. Little did I know, this was all part of the plan that Tanusha had been working on with my sister, to get me to the proposal location
As we made our way down to the proposal location, I saw Tanusha standing up on the rotunda and a photographer taking photos of him. I thought to myself, it’s a little odd that it’s not his brother that was being photographed. As I was getting closer to him, I realised what was happening. Tanusha had a beautiful set-up done on the Rotunda, thanks to the help of My Proposal Co. with flowers, pictures of us and our month-versary cards that we have been giving each other since we first met. He also had a song that’s special to us, playing in the background and I was speechless. He said some beautiful words and then went down on one knee and of course the answer was a YES from me! :) Our families and best man then came up to the Rotunda and that was the best way to celebrate this new milestone for us.
