How We Met
We met as students at lightsaber school (yes – lightsaber school :-) ), with him performing as a Jedi hero and me as a Sith villain. After a long friendship, we found ourselves leading the group together as instructors and board members. Our first official date happened after setting up for a lightsaber show at WV PopCon.
How They Asked
The following year at the comic convention where we started dating, we had a big performance planned. He invited family and friends for the performance, but actually… during the show, he proposed! Our big wedding was delayed because of Covid-19, but we made it official earlier this year and plan a big Star Wars-themed, costumed party for our one year anniversary.
