How We Met
We initially met through mutual friends at a gig in 2011. Anthony was down from where he lived in Brisbane at the time and I was with my ex-boyfriend. Fast forward to July 2013. Anthony had moved down to live in Melbourne permanently and I had just broken up with my now ex-boyfriend.
I started going out after the breakup and we started hanging out as friends. At that stage I wasn’t even looking for a relationship as I clearly said to friends that I wanted to be single for a VERY long time, but I couldn’t help how I started feeling for him and how natural it was for us to spend time with each other and have fun.
In February of 2014, I sent him a text message saying “I think you’re pretty rad” and he replied ” I think you’re pretty rad too” and from there we’ve been together ever since.

We had our first date at the National Gallery of Victoria. So as the romantic that he is he proposed there.
