How We Met
Kyle and I met in college at UConn. We met my freshman year and quickly became friends over our mutual love for the Red Sox and all things Boston. After a year of becoming best friends, Kyle finally asked me out on our first date. Fast forward 5 1/2 years later of dating, we decided it was time to start the next chapter of our lives by purchasing our first home together.
How They Asked
We closed and he proposed!🏡💍 My fiancé, Kyle, proposed to me on the front steps of our new house the same day we closed. We were surrounded by both of our families who were standing on our front lawn taking pictures of us in front of our house. He then turned to me, got down on one knee and said: “It’s not a new house without a ring, will you marry me” (at least that’s what I remember, I was in shock for some time )! Of course, I said YES! Having our families there was so special and more thoughtful than I could have ever imagined. We are now ENGAGED homeowners….now that has a ring to it💍
