How We Met
Josh and I met my first semester of college. All of my friends convinced me to go play volleyball with some people I didn’t know, and I almost didn’t go. I am so glad I did because right when I saw Josh it was an instant crush. From that day we became friends, but nothing more. We would see each other on campus sometimes and I would get butterflies when I saw him. We continued to be friends and date other people until we went on our own first date. We drank hot chocolate, went sledding, and laughed the entire night.

More than a year later, I went to go visit him and his family after Christmas. Every time I visit them in San Diego, we go to the beach during the sunset to take pictures. This time I was in for a total surprise. We pull up to the spot and as we were walking, I saw a table with roses and pictures of us. Josh told me how much he loved me and told me that he would never want to live without me. That’s when he got down on one knee and asked me to be with him forever. Saying yes is the best decision I have ever made and I can’t wait to start our eternity together!
