How We Met
We met in a running class that our friends had convinced us to take (I need to mention that we were both hesitant to sign up for the class, therefor we both signed up last minute). We then developed mutual friends and began hanging out. I had never met a person who actually made me want to better myself and succeed. Fast forward 3 years later, lots of adventures, tons of laughs & we are now engaged & very excited for our future together. Needless to say, we are both thankful we signed up for that running class.
how they asked
He told me to go buy a new dress because he wanted to take me out to eat at a nice restaurant near my hometown. I had my suspicions that something was going on, so throughout dinner I was very excited, thinking that it was going to happen then. I’m not going to lie, I was a little disappoint when he said, “lets go home”, right after dinner. On the way back we passed a wedding reception that was taking place in a barn, and he said he knew of a place with a cool barn that he wanted to show me. We got to the barn and he led me up to the door. He then opened it, and inside there were lights strung everywhere, along with photos of us from over the past three years together. I immediately had tears because I realized what was happening. He then led me up some stairs where he made me close my eyes. When i opened them he was down on one knee with the words “will you marry me” strung up in lights behind him.
I could not have dreamt up a more perfect proposal & cannot wait to marry the man of my dreams.
