How We Met
Kyle is my brothers best friend, lived a down the street from us and was constantly with my family. I always had the biggest crush on him throughout the years growing up but feared he only thought of me as a little sister. Then came high school. My freshman year he was a senior. I found an old phone of my brothers and started snooping. I found Kyle’s number and kept it for myself. It took me months but I finally reached out to him! We texted back and forth for months and I finally told him I had a crush on him basically all my life and he said he started feeling the same way around his sophomore year of high school but never thought anything could happen. He’s my brothers BEST FRIEND! We decided to speak to my brother about us having feeling for each other and right then he told us if there was anyone of his friends to date his little sister(ME) he would only allow it to be Kyle. We took that as his blessing. A week later Kyle asked me on a date in 2009 and we’ve been together ever since! Through being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 17 and many many treacherous health issues, buying our first home and getting engaged. I can’t imagine my life without Kyle and I am the luckiest girl in the world just because he chose me to spend the rest of his life with.

Kyle proposed to me in Disney World in 2016 right in front of the castle. I was completely surprised. I’m 22 years old and I have Multiple Sclerosis so at the time I had to travel with a wheelchair to get around easier. We parked the wheelchair so that we could get pictures in front of the castle since I’m a huge Disney fan! We took a couple picture and I went to walk to the staff member taking the pictures and Kyle grabs my hand and begins to tell me everything he loves about me & how he can’t imagine a life without us together and asked me to make him the happiest man on earth and marry him. I broke down ugly crying obviously and I of course said yes to the man of my dreams! After 7 years he’s still my prince charming!
