Stephanie and Nathan

How We Met: Nathan and I have known each other since the 9th grade. We attended the same middle and high school. Apparently, Nathan had his eyes on me for years. I, however, only thought of him as a friend and would barely give him the time of day. I commonly ignored him and wasn’t very nice. As a person who always stuck with a routine, I found his spontaneous and hyper attitude intimidating. Although we had the same classes, mutual friends, and shared the same values, I never thought of him as the right guy for me.

Towards the end of high school, our amount of mutual friends became a higher number and I slowly started to come around. Like me, he valued his family and friends and he respected my own family. That attribute alone was important to me and I was happy that he wasn’t shy about that. Nathan and I ended up becoming best friends and eventually, he was my boyfriend. 4 years, 11 jobs and 2 police academies later, he is my fiancé!

how they asked: Nathan, being a spontaneous and impatient person, he proposed in traffic. This suited him because he is a trooper with the Georgia State Patrol. He said he couldn’t wait any longer and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I was caught completely off guard and we had a couple friends that got the impromptu proposal on video. I admire him and I am thankful he waited almost 4 years for me to come around he has accomplished so much in his 24 years. I am looking forward to be Mrs. Bradley!
