I had just defended my Master’s of Nursing and Chris had told me he had one vacation day left in the year to use and if I had wanted to go to my family’s cabin for a night. Of course I had said yes! My sister asked me later what I was up to and had said I was heading to the cabin with Chris, she said that she too had the following day off and was wondering if we minded if she came to the cabin too, and of course I told her to come. On the drive out to the lake, Chris asked me what I wanted to do the next morning and I said I had no plans. He asked if I wanted to see the sunrise over the lake. The next morning he woke me up to see the sunrise and the rest is history.
