Most sentimental moment:
I remember holding Greg’s hands during the ceremony and feeling so present with him in that moment. Yes, all of our friends and family were watching us, but it felt like just him and I all ceremony long. I’d been so excited to share my vows with Greg, and hearing his to me made my heart glow.
Favorite part with friends and family:
All of our dances were meaningful to us! My mom sang our first dance song, my daddy daughter dance was full of love and happy tears, and then Greg’s dance with his mom turned out to be totally choreographed!
My family is Jewish, so we incorporated a lot of Jewish traditions in it. Nothing over the top, but we included symbolism where it made sense to us and our love.
We were both also looking forward to this moment too:
We went heli-skiing in Canada for our honeymonn!
Well, we got a dog! Greg had Golden Retrievers growing up, so that’s exactly what he wanted. We plan to travel a lot the next few years and take the rest as it comes.
And now for our photos and wedding details…
The happy couple
My dress was made by Tony Ward and I got it at Kleinfeld! I’d been looking forward to finding my dream dress for a long, long time!
We wanted a bright, warm, open ceremony. We had it around sunset and it was magical.
I wanted bright flowers with a tiny pop! We used purple for the pop and the rest were soft pinks, white and greenery.
The reception was at the same venue, only it was indoors! The dance party was huge – and we loved every minute.
Definitely our vows.
