How We Met
We met in the summer of 2016 when Mike just so happened to have been playing professional baseball in Connecticut. It was my second day on the dating app Bumble, and after we starting talking for a few days, that was it! Our first date was at Colony Pizza in Milford, CT.
How They Asked
It happened on Anchor Beach in Milford, CT on April 11, 2019. I had a feeling it was going to happen but I was 50/50. There were a couple of other times I thought it was going to happen so I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Mike had suggested we get dolled up for one last date night before he left for baseball season, and we did – and he suggested we take pictures at our favorite beach prior to dinner. After several selfies and Mike scanning around for someone to take our picture to no avail, he got down on one knee. I knew it was happening when he reached in his pocket and started saying my full name! Middle name and everything.
