It was definitely a surprise! We went to our favorite brunch spot in Long Beach, The Attic. After he said he wanted me to meet our friend’s new baby at the Aquarium and I didn’t think anything of it. One of his friends worked at the Aquarium and he convinced me that we serendipitously got a chance to go backstage during the seal show and that’s when, with the help of a seal, he proposed!
