How We Met
Spencer and I grew up right around the corner from one another but had never actually met until we were both out of high school. It was the summer of 2013 and my friends were begging me to go on a floating trip ( which I had no interest in ) but it was almost the end of summer so I threw my bikini on and decided to meet everyone at the starting point. As soon as I got out of the car I saw this tan, blue eyed, long blonde hair boy with a smile that took my breath away. I knew I had to stick with him the rest of the trip and get to know him better. During the five hour float trip we found out that we had so much in common. I have been stuck at the hip to Spencer since then just floating through life together.

Spencer and I went on a beach trip with all of our friends to the Oregon Coast. Coming back with sand in our hair and shoes we were so tired and I was ready to get home and take a shower and nap. Spencer was insistent that we go over to his Grandmas house and go pick something up from here. I was trying every which way to get out of it but he convinced me. Spencer walked me to his Grandmas backyard which is where she has a beautiful rose garden and sat me down on a bench and that’s when he popped the question. It was small and intimate and I wouldn’t have it any other way ( because we were both ugly crying). We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together!
