How We Met
Alex and I met through mutual friends at a party when I was 18 and he was 19. We instantly became the best of friends and were absolutely inseparable! A year and a half later, our friendship flourished and we began dating.

Alex proposed to me on our two year anniversary. We went out for dinner to a restaurant on Sydney Harbour, and later got some gelato and went on the ferris wheel. I had no idea what Alex had planned as I thought we were heading back home. Alex suggested we go for a walk on a private board walk which lead to a view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
We were commenting on how beautiful it looked at night and Alex suggested I take a video of the view. I started to record and when I got around to where Alex had been standing he was down on one knee, with a ring in hand, and asked “Sophie, will you marry me?”
I was beyond shocked, squealed and said, YES!
