How We Met

Sawyere and I have known each other since we were 8 years old. We became best friends in Junior High School and obviously started crushing on each other after a little while! He moved to Colorado our Sophomore year of high school but luckily our bond was to strong to break. We kept in touch everyday and visited each other all through high school. Finally when we entered into college we decided we had to be exclusive. We did long distance for 2 years and after he graduated from UNC he moved right on back to Utah! No matter the distance our friendship and love stood strong and even grew. I have never met someone who could be thousands of miles away but who could make me feel so loved 24/7.

how they asked

Sawyere and I have been dating since we were sixteen years old and one of the first restaurants we ever went to together was called La Ferrovia. We became addicted to the old little restaurant and made it “our” spot. We have been there hundreds of times and the waitresses their don’t even need to ask us for our order because they know us so well. This little spot was where we have made so many different memories and where we have had so many different conversations. Our spot had memories from laughter, love and fun to serious conversations. On February 13, 2016 Sawyere took me to La Ferrovia to celebrate Valentines Day. We had our yummy food and great conversation as usual but this time leaving La Ferrovia I would never forget. As we went out the back door into the courtyard there was a cute little set up of beautiful red roses and chocolate covered strawberries. Sawyere led me to the set up and got down on one knee.

I was so taken back and it honestly felt like the most beautiful moment that has ever happened in my life! My family was hiding in the bushes and it only made the moment so much more meaningful. The ring, moment and of course me love of my life was absolutely perfect! I was so happy that this Valentines Day he had finally made me his Valentine for life!
