How We Met
In 2016, we were both studying at Delta State University and I was doing a project for a sound design class. I had been hearing about this guy with a really deep voice and thought it would be funny to see if he would do a little voice work for the project. My partner knew exactly who I was talking about and texted him to come over to assist us. As soon as I saw him I knew he was someone I wanted to get to know. The rest was history.
How They Asked
In April of 2022, Albert Pujols announced he was coming back to St Louis for his final season. As I had grown up watching him, I pitched the idea to Grayson and my parents that we go see a game. June 27, 2022, I was told we were going on a tour of the stadium that was set up by my mom’s boss. The tour ended on the field near home plate. We were taking pictures that I thought were just part of the normal tour experience when Grayson got down on one knee and popped the question.
