How We Met
We met on Tinder, BUT we had many mutual friends and had actually run into each other before in person. We found out we have the same exact birthday (we are 3 hours apart in age) and sparks flew from there!
How They Asked
He recreated each step of our first date! Our first date consisted of visited the sushi restaurant, RA Sushi, then going to look at the Tucson lights on the side of a mountain in Oro Valley, with a view to die for, and finally going back to my parents house where I lived at the time to watch Game of Thrones, which he had never seen before. For the proposal – he tricked me and said we were meeting some out of town family at RA Sushi, and the family called on our way to the restaurant to tell us they weren’t feeling well and couldn’t make it. Then he took me to that gorgeous spot in Oro Valley where a beautiful sunset was taking place – at the spot waiting was my brother with a camera taking pictures and video, as well as a little set up with the ring and some flowers – it was perfect. After he proposed he proceeded to tell me I couldn’t call my mom or any of my friends yet – they were all waiting for me at my parents house with a Game of Thrones themed engagement party, Iron Throne and all! It was perfect, I really couldn’t have dreamed of a proposal so magic as the one I got!
