Scott and Carmen's Incredible Helicopter Proposal

how we met

Carmen and I met actually in a dance class. Since we are both dance instructors, we often taught at local dance studios but had never met before, until one studio owner decided to have us teach a collaboration class together for the year. So every week we would teach class and learn a little bit more about each other. It wasn’t until 3 years later I got the guts to ask her out. To this day we still teach together at the same studio we met!

how they asked

My Dad proposed to my mom 30 years ago on Christmas Eve 1985, so I thought I would carry on the family tradition. My very first gift to Carmen was a record player when we started dating, then when I asked her to be my girlfriend, I gave her a “Girlfriend” vinyl record by N’Sync. So when I asked her to marry me, I thought a vinyl of “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge was fitting.

The whole plan and how I proposed is probably explained better in the video as the story can be pretty long!
