How We Met
Scott and I met 7 years ago through mutual friends. Maybe it sounds cheesy, but he has been my person since. We have experienced so much together and are looking forward to a lifetime of traveling and romance. We recently moved to Lakewood, Colorado with our two pups, and we are beyond in love with the mountains.
How They Asked
Scott took me to one of our favorite spots in the mountains for a photoshoot with one of our friends, Beba. She came to Colorado for a photography retreat in Winter Park, but made time for a quick sunset session with us.
I am a designer, but I also assist Beba in some of her brand needs and social media account management! So, I was completely under the impression that she wanted to do a fun “thank you” shoot for me during her time here! Long story short, we were all at this gorgeous spot looking out over the most beautiful mountain view. During the photo session, Scott stepped away for a second toward our hiking bag.
I thought he was just moving it over so that it wasn’t it the frame.. but.. then he hugged me and whispered, “did you know?” I started to get that feeling,, you know?? “I bet you didn’t realize today was your last day as my girlfriend” I looked down and saw the Blue Nile box and then I think blacked out. Just kidding!! Haha, but it was honestly the most romantic thing in the world, seeing him drop to a knee and ask me to marry him. I said YES YES YES!! The ring is stunning.. He’s stunning.. I am in love. He’s my everything and more.
