How We Met
Javi and I met in high school. We cheered and had some classes together for 2 years before our friendship slowly became more serious and we began dating on December 1, 2011. We graduated high school that May and decided to try out for our college cheer team! We both made it, cheered together for 4 years throughout college, and now have been coaching that team. Over the past 8 years, our love continues to grow and on August 10, 2019, Javi decided to take the next step and propose!
How They Asked
After dating for 7 and a half years, I woke up to what I thought was another normal day, not knowing it was about to become the best day of my life! Our best friend and my fiancé’s sister and nephew were in town so we were taking them to eat lunch at our favorite spot in Lake Tahoe. Afterward, we walked down on the dock to take pictures like we always do and that is where he got down on one knee to ask me the big question! But that wasn’t the only surprise! We drove back down to Reno where all of our friends and family have come up from Las Vegas to surprise me and celebrate with us afterward for our engagement party! Such a special and magical day!
A little background about the stunting picture… We stunt everywhere we travel and so this day was no different! I can’t wait to do this on our wedding day!
