Sarah and Jon

How We Met

Sarah and I first met when I bought a puppy and needed some guidance on dog care. She worked at the local pet shop nearest my home and she immediately struck me as a smart and beautiful girl. After a few visits to the store over a few weeks, I finally got the courage to ask her out and we’ve been together since.

How They Asked

For the proposal, I had the help of my two dear friends at Two Fourteen Photography – I wanted them to be there and they wanted to capture the moment. We had an intricate plan of pretending we were having a weekend getaway in Temecula and doing a couple’s shoot at the very beautiful Avocado Newton Manor. During one of Sarah’s solo camera moments, I snuck behind her and got down on one knee. As she turned to look at me and to hug me (as she was instructed to do), she was really confused to find me on one knee presenting a ring. I think once she saw the ring, it all made sense. She was surprised, really surprised…and finally said yes!
