how we met
It started with a swipe. JSwipe to be more specific. It’s like Tinder for Jewish people. Asaf’s profile read “lawyer and dj”, which I thought was pretty funny. When we matched he asked me if we matched because he was a dj or a lawyer. I could tell he had a sense of humor right then!We agreed to meet at Oscar’s in Philadelphia, and the rest is history.
how they asked
I was definitely surprised! Before we moved in together, Asaf lived in Rittenhouse Square. So we spent a lot of time around the square. For the proposal Asaf took me to a French restaurant, Parc Rittenhouse. I had a feeling something was up because he seemed a little nervous at first. But after a delicious meal, he ordered us champagne and popped the question! I barely let him get the words out, probably the fastest “yes” I’ve ever said.
