How We Met
Myles and I went to high school together but were never anything more than friends. We were even on the same party bus to prom with other people! We reconnected on social media after high school and ended up going to breakfast with a group of friends since we were all still in the area. After 2 months of constantly texting and hanging out, we slipped and fell into dating.
How They Asked
Five years later we’ve been together ever since! We went to Portland to celebrate our 2-year mark on being vegan. I thought I had every restaurant and activity planned to the T. On the first morning of our trip we went to the rose gardens.
As I was taking a picture, Myles said he wanted to take a picture of me taking a picture. When I turned around he was on one knee, asking me to be his person while holding the most gorgeous ring. We spent the day eating amazing food and exploring a gorgeous city.
