How We Met
Sam and I met in high school. I had a crush on him since freshman year, but he had a girlfriend at the time so I waited (patiently). It wasn’t until the senior year that we started dating and I knew he was my soul mate instantly. We shared our first kiss at the Homecoming football game as the fireworks went off. Sam asked me to be his girlfriend on January 14, 2012. Little did we know we were going to grow up together more in love. There’s no one like him.
How They Asked
Sam asked me earlier in the week if he could take me to dinner. On Saturday once I was off work, I rushed home to get ready and headed to his house so we could go eat at Cha Cha’s. When I got to his house I texted him that I was there and he told me to walk in. When I opened the door, there were my favorite flowers in vases and rose petals leading up to him standing under pictures of us that he hung up.
Our song was playing in the background-Greatest Love Story by LANCO. I was in complete shock and so happy that I couldn’t believe it was happening! He then got down on one knee and asked me to make him the happiest guy in the world and I said YES!
