How We Met
We met in university Rowing team. After we had met around 9 months, we were together at the end of the semester.
how they asked
On our holiday in Bali, Ryan asked me to stroll around our resort to have a good photos of our holiday. At one point he asked me to use a blindfold, and he held my hand as we went down the stairs.
My heart was pounding trying to guess what’s is going on. After seemingly a very long walk in the dark. Ryan finally asked me to open the blindfold. I saw a table full of flowers, pictures of us and fairy lights. I was completely surprised.
As I was trying to figure out what’s happening, Ryan asked me to turn around, and i saw a huge “MARRY ME” sign made out of candles. I was utterly shocked and blown away.
He held my hand as, I was trying to hold my tears, started to reminisce about our relationship and then he got down to his knee and asked me to marry him. I said absolutely YES!!
Throughout our relationship, Ryan never actually did anything remotely romantic to me, because of that this proposal is such a surprise and I was more than I could ever dreamed off.
