How We Met
From the second I saw Callahan all of those years ago I knew he had a special place in my life, little did I know we would grow together and become best friends and soulmates and that one special day he would ask me to be his wife.
how they asked
This past memorial day 2017, Callahan had asked me if we would like to go on a trolley ride that runs in our sweet town of Fort Collins, CO which of course I said yes too. We got on the trolley and he seemed a little quiet and nervous.. when the trolley came to its first stop and turn around point he asked me to get off with him for a minute and when we stepped off I saw my grandparents who are near and dear to my heart, but confusion set in and I did understand why they were there. I hugged them and said hello and turned around and saw Callahan down on one knee with a ring in hand.
And there it was, the moment every girl dreams of, the man I’ve loved all of these years asked me to be his wife and I without hesitation told him YES!
Cheers and congratulations echoed all around us from bystanders and my very proud grandparents! He also had coordinated with an amazing photographer/friend to capture it all! It was one of the greatest moments in our lives and I cannot wait to become his wife and life partner. 9 years later and I can finally say I get to marry my high school sweetheart!!!
