How We Met
I met Samtayour through a mutual friend in 2018. It wasn’t love at first sight. He was such a gentleman and still is. We gradually became friends and spoke over the phone for lengthy hours. Samtayour opened up to having feelings at some stage and I got frightened because I was not looking for anything serious at that time. However, I advised we take things slow and see what happens, I also developed feelings over time and it just felt right.
Truth be told, it hasn’t been the easiest journey, but it has been the best decision I’ve made and I’ve also had the best experiences of my life with him. I’m really optimistic and keen for our future together, he is just lovely and I know he was made for me, just as I was made for him.
How They Asked
Samtayour told me he was having a house warming as he just purchased his first home. He told me it was a special moment and therefore, I should look good. He got me to do my nails and makeup which got me suspicious but he always found a way out. My friends also kept pushing for my outfits and makeup which was very unusual.
He then told me a day before the scheduled house warming party that it was canceled and I was very unhappy with all the preparations I had put together. However, he said he booked a restaurant for dinner on the following Monday which was also unusual but he was just smart with all the plans and he did get me.
I always thought he would propose on my birthday or our anniversary, I had no idea it would be this soon. I was indeed shocked and overjoyed when I realized, it was surreal and I felt like I was walking on the moon. It’s been a week and I’m still not over it and I don’t think I will ever be.
