How We Met
Matt and I met at Valparaiso University in 2014. We became best friends instantly. We did everything together so we made the decision to start dating in the spring of 2016. It has been amazing dating my absolute best friend in the world!

I am obsessed with all things Disney so we started to plan our 2nd Disney trip in May. This trip was going to be extra special because it was over the New Year and was a week long! On New Year’s Day we went to the Magic Kingdom for a breakfast with the Princesses. Matt went with his dad while I went with his other family for breakfast. After breakfast Matt was standing with a dozen roses waiting for me. We walked past the Wishing Well and made our way to the front. In front of Cinderella Castle he went down on one knee and asked for me to join him to live happily ever after! I then turned around to see my entire family there. They came down to surprise me for the engagement!! It was such a magical experience!
