How We Met
My mom and I went on a quick trip to Disney’s Food & Wine Festival in September 2017. AJ and I had followed each other on Instagram but didn’t know one another. When I posted a picture of myself sitting on a bench in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion, he ‘liked’ my photo and messaged me telling me how he was so jealous of my trip and was living vicariously through me. I’m a huge Disney fan so the fact that he made it clear that he was too (and because I was a little wine tipsy), I responded. Long story short- we went on a first date two weeks later and have been inseparable ever since.
How They Asked
Fast forward two years later, almost to the exact day, he proposed on that same bench in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion.
