How We Met
It was 2011, I was 16 he was 15… we met in high school Spanish class. He was the blonde hair, blue-eyed, heartthrob, on the baseball team that I just couldn’t take my eyes off of! A friend introduced us, he asked me to homecoming a couple of months into the new school year, and the rest is history! We’ve been in love ever since.
How They Asked
Alec took me back to the woodlands tx, where we grew up together and met 9 years ago. He took me out for drinks at this gorgeous restaurant along the waterway. Upon leaving he asked me if I wanted to go walk around before we headed to our belated Valentine’s Day dinner. So we started walking and before I knew it he had to lead me into this magical secret garden spot.
All of a sudden I saw the bridge over the little coy pond covered in roses and lined with candles, I immediately knew; this was the day. With tears in his eyes, he told me how he had loved me since he was 15, and had been picturing this moment ever since. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Giddy, in shock, and feeling overwhelmed with excitement and love I just kept saying “yes, yes, yes, yes!!!” We went to dinner after and I was yet surprised again when I walked into a whole gathering of family and friends at my parents’ house! All planned out with twin sister Jessie, the day couldn’t have been more perfect! I get to call my long time boyfriend, bestie, high school sweetheart, my FIANCÉ and soon to be hubs! What a dream.
