How We Met
Abhishek and I first met in India when I was traveling for a work rotation in early 2015, but later connected after I returned to the US and he started a rotation through our employer in the US that spring. I reached out to him to welcome him to the states, and offered him a tour of New York City (where I was living at the time), as he’d never seen the city before – and the rest is history! We’ve since relocated back to my home state of Massachusetts, and now live and work in Boston.

Abhishek took me by surprise with a New Year’s Eve proposal just last weekend in Boston – we were headed to a party in the city and were all dressed up, it didn’t even cross my mind that he might be proposing that night! Most absolutely perfect and unexpected way to add a bit of warmth to the coldest day of the year (5 degrees in this picture!) Needless to say, we didn’t last long outside – so we were floored when we saw these candid pictures from the photographer he secretly hired. We are so excited to start our lives together, and are incredibly happy that this moment was captured for us to look back on!
