Morgan and Jackson's Proposal in their New First Home

How We Met

Jackson and I have known each other since high school. Although we went to different schools I still had major crush on Jackson but was just too afraid to talk to him. It wasn’t until after we graduated that we finally had a conversation. We ended up going to college together and began talking everyday. By November we were dating! We’ve been together now for 2 1/2 years!

how they asked

We just recently bought a house together that we plan on fixing up and making our first home. I didn’t know it at the time but this is where Jackson planned on proposing to me.

It was a Friday evening and he told me we were going to the city for dinner since we hadn’t had a date night in a while. He told me what time we were leaving and even picked out my clothes for me to wear. (Which is strange because he normally doesn’t do that.)

As we were leaving my house, he told me that him and his dad had replaced some windows in our new house and he wanted to stop by their first to show me. I didn’t know this, but he had asked my cousin Logan and his fiancé Lyndsey, who happens to be a photographer, to hide and photograph this!

When we pulled up to the house, he led me to the front door and told me to go in. When I walked in I was completely blown away. Jackson went through and wrote love notes on all of the walls. There was a path of rose petals on the floor leading me through the rooms. I then started to realize what was happening! When we walked into the living room there was a vase of roses and a ring box. He got down on one knee and there asked me to marry him!! And of course I said YES!!!!

After I calmed down a bit he told me that this was going to be our house together one day and this is where we were going to start a family. He said that those words on the walls will forever be in the foundation of our home together. This is where our love story will begin.
