How We Met
I met Priyanka 12 years ago on a ship cruise. We were both really young however we took to each other instantly. We formed a friendship and a few years later we started our relationship together.
How They Asked
The day of the proposal was like walking into a scene of a movie! I was under the impression I was going for lunch, with my cousin and her boyfriend and that lunch was followed by a surprise photoshoot, (She didn’t know About) for my cousin an I. After Lunch, everything was fast paced. We walked down the promenade (All Ready For The Photoshoot ) and onto the pier.
It was then that everything felt like a movie scene. Dav and I were walking ahead and it was then when a gentleman started playing Bruno Mars – Marry You with his saxophone, I looked at Davron knowing it was showtime ?!! Everything happened so fast, our little dog BaMBaM appeared from nowhere running up to us, with a bow tie on, with the ring and before I knew it Davron was on one knee being all romantic ?!!!
To the left of the pier, my family was all there holding up boards which said…
“Priyanka Govender Will You Marry Me?” and to the right, my little cousins had, “She Said Yes”. I could not believe what was happening! It has to be the greatest surprise of my life.
Thank you to my beautiful aunt @kammy.moodley, my rockstar of a cousin @tamtamonetwo and her awesome boyfriend @nivenmaharaj and my incredible uncle and not forgetting my amazing dad @retirewithmrg for planning such an incredible proposal with Davron. We are super GRATEFUL for all your help, despite the minor challenges everything was AMAZING!!
To my amazing FIANCÉ ?, you never fail to surprise me. You are God sent. Thank you for making our day a day to remember forever. This was beyond what I expected. You are my favorite person, place, feeling, everything forever!! I love you so much ?
